Our Story
Generations of bookworms brought The Reading Attic to life!
Elizabeth & Caroline, mom-daughter duo & Marietta locals for 30+ years, felt the Square craved an independent bookstore.
Elizabeth's mother filled her childhood with stories, and Elizabeth carried that on to Caroline, along with a cherished family tradition of collecting elephants (symbolizing luck, wisdom, & protection), which inspired the Reading Attic’s logo.
Now, our cozy reading haven awaits, brimming with children's books & support for local authors. Come dive into your next story!
